Genealogy Group

This group was formed at the beginning of 2019 and new members are welcome. A programme of activities is planned at the beginning of the year, and all members are invited to bring their ideas and to contribute to the running of the group. We like to share family photos, memories of wartime service and other family stories. A professional researcher also comes to talk to us from time to time about how to find out about war records, newspaper archives and other interesting avenues to explore.

Venue

We meet in the Village Hall Conference Room, Banks Park from 10.15am to 12.45 on the second Thursday of each month. Twice a year we visit the library to assist members with their own projects.

Costs

We ask for a donation of £4 per meeting to cover the hire charge of the venue and refreshments.
