Wine Tasting Group
The Wine Tasting Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. The group is open to any U3A members with an interest in wines or a desire to know more about them. One of the members acts as host on a rota basis. The host is responsible for choosing 3-4 wines and giving the group an introductory overview of them. After tasting, the group discusses the wines and compare views with published expert opinion.
Members must confirm their attendance in advance to the Group Leader, to enable the appropriate number of bottles to be purchased and other arrangements to be made.
Occasional visits are also organised. See below.
If you wish to join us, please contact Richard Moore on 01844 290972 or Richard.P.Moore@btinternet.com
There is a £5.00 attendance charge to cover the cost of the wine and any other incidental expenses.
